Justin has a thriving practice specialising in acute general and respiratory medicine, including chronic cough, breathlessness, persistent infection, complex lung diseases and sleep disorders.

Dr Pepperell is an NHS clinician with over 30 years experience of dealing with the wide range of lung diseases and competent in the full range of diagnostic and interventional treatment procedures.

With his specialist interest in sleep medicine, Dr Pepperell is highly experienced in the assessment and treatment of snoring, and in dealing with sleep apnoea, he supervises a full sleep laboratory for sleep studies into sleep apnoea, respiratory failure and sleep behaviours.

Dr Pepperell has also developed advanced techniques in bronchoscopy and medical thoracoscopy and established a  medical thoracoscopy service for the investigation of pleural fluid collections.

He has a strong research background and has published over 40 peer-reviewed publications on sleep apnoea and cardiovascular disease, and currently completes Medicolegal reports for Asbestos related disease, personal injury and occupational lung disease.
